Description
The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, manufactured and sold by American furniture company Herman Miller, debuted in 1956. Charles and Ray Eames designed the chair using moulded plywood and leather. This chair marked the Eameses’ first design for the high-end market. New York’s Museum of Modern Art includes the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in its permanent collection.
